About Spire Boxing Academy

Spire Boxing Academy opened back in the summer of 2006 and in this time it has seen youngsters from every school within the immediate Chesterfield town centre area frequent the gym. Based on Thompson Street at Whittington Moor, the Academy has proved to be a huge success.

The training regime is currently a tough non-contact boxing programme designed by myself, Robbie Sivyer, drawing on my experience of 24 years in the sport. From this I hope to produce promising young boxers who will then be ready for competition.

I insist on a friendly and respectful atmosphere in the gym to ensure new recruits of all ages feel unintimidated - as walking into a boxing gym for the first time can be a daunting experience.
