Spire Boxing academy is Chesterfields newest ABA affiliated boxing gym, and opened its doors in May 2006. Starting life with just a handful of local youngsters, word soon spread and over the last few years the Academy has trained hundreds of aspiring young boxers and fitness enthusiasts alike.

This year the club has produced its first crop of talented boxers, displaying their skills up and down the country and on two of our very own sellout shows at our home venue Chesterfield Queens Park sports Centre. In May of this year our boxers took part in 17 contests, winning an amazing 15!

The Academy is aimed at the youth of the town and offers a relaxed, light hearted atmosphere mixed with a a tough training regime. The academy aims to reduce the problems associated with many of the town's young people today, So whether it's just keep fit or you're the next Amir Khan then this is the club for you.

Alongside the academy, I run keep fit sessions which are open to both men and women - young or old, super fit or out of shape? No matter your needs, I have training sessions to suit you.
